I was thinking today about the last (or next, if you haven't read it yet) post I made, realized that to the observer it appeared I was pleading for them to like Fall Out Boy, like I needed them to accept my music.
That's not what I meant. (I seem to say that often)
What I was trying to say was that people shouldn't look at them negatively just because someone somewhere said they sucked. In fact, I don't care all that much about what anyone else thinks.
In my geometry class these two kids got into a very loud argument about music that's "poserish", whatever that means. One kid was naming bands, as if he needed the other kid to accept his music or he would explode. Well apparently the other kid didn't enjoy this, and she began using very forceful words, which didn't stop the first kid from firing bands.
The entire time I was thinking, "Why does it even matter what she thinks of his music? She isn't the one who has to listen to it."
What i'm trying to say here is that people shouldn't care that much what people do with their lives. I'm listening to Panic(!) at the disco as we speak, or type or whatever, a band widely thought to be second only in "poserishness" to Fall Out Boy, and I'm loving it. You might not, but I do.
And that's enough for me.
